HK Cares is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping families with children who have special needs obtain trained therapy dogs.
We believe every child deserves the opportunity to experience the comfort, connection, and support that a therapy dog can provide. Through fundraising, community partnerships, and the generosity of donors, we help make that opportunity a reality for families who need it most.

How the Program Works
Families may apply for assistance through the HK Cares Therapy Dog Program.
Applications are reviewed based on:

- Financial need
- The family's ability to provide a safe and supportive home environment
